Barely out of High School but
already playing up a ‘storm’ on her violin!

Favorites’, attests
to this beyond the shadow of a doubt.
It becomes a rather different type
of playing when a ‘higher force’ takes
over. An impetus exceeding ‘personal
opinion’, ‘interpretation’ and
‘conceptual artistic-ideology.’
Especially and particularly on the
issue of how a piece of music is to be performed; and
to be appreciated, likewise. This all tends to be quite
subjective, after all.
Thus, in the final analysis, it is
only perhaps when this ‘subjectivity’ cedes
to a higher and much greater force, and is removed from
the equation, when ‘true artistry’ can then
flow unabated.
